French 1 is a hybrid class: students complete assigned self-paced lessons two other days per week; live class emphasizes speaking practice.
This course earns high school credit. It moves a bit faster than the younger beginner track, with more writing and explicit grammar, while developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing together.
