Information
Grades are a guideline and a bit fluid. The following can help you decide where to place your student:
- French 1 includes homework; classes are for high school credit. If your 7th or 8th grader is very motivated to learn French, this may be the right fit.
- For 4th graders: Beginner French has copywork each class day. Can your 4th grader comfortably copy five sentences?
- Elementary French A is for students who took Elementary French in 2025/26 (or who have already done a lot of French — email if you are not sure).
Classes are non-refundable.
Please check your schedule carefully before committing. If you are no longer able to attend the live class, recordings will be provided and you will retain access to the Canvas (Instructure) class page.
All classes are recorded and available in the Canvas classroom each week in case of absence.
Class size: 10 - 12 students per class.
Term: Classes start the week of August 17th and conclude the week of May 3rd (30 weeks).
