About Me
Bienvenue! I am Julie, a French teacher, home educator, wife, and mother of four.
CM Everyday French began in 2022. 1021923 when a friend asked me to give her daughter French lessons. Today, I teach French in the Charlotte Mason style, helping families bring French into everyday life.
A little bit on my background in French
I have spoken French my whole life and am originally from Quebec City. Later I moved to Vancouver and taught French immersion in Canada before moving to the United States. I now live in Atlanta with my husband, our four kids, and the family cat.
Some facts about me
- I love to travel and visit art museums, especially impressionist galleries. Seeing impressionist paintings in Paris was one of my favorite memories.
- I am a devoted tea drinker. Yorkshire Gold is my favorite blend, and we have a full kitchen drawer dedicated to tea.
- I enjoy nature trails, bird watching, and identifying plants and flowers. Time in nature is where I feel closest to God.
- Our home is full of books. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Elizabeth Goudge, Wendell Berry, and Gene Stratton Porter.
