Who this is for
Section 1 after one year of Beginner French; Section 2 after Continuing French A (or by permission)
By the end of this course, students will be able to…
- Follow stories and retell them with growing ease
- Meet grammar and verb patterns inside the stories
- Speak and write more of their own French about familiar topics
How it works
Live class with 10–12 students, so every child has time to speak.
Tuesday & Thursday — Section 1: 9:30–10:15 AM ET; Section 2: 10:30–11:15 AM ET.
August–May.
Parents do not need to know French.

Taught by Julie, a native French speaker and French immersion teacher.
Continuing French builds on the foundation already established, strengthening comprehension and expression through structured cycles of stories, narration, poetry, and meaningful repetition.
Grammar and verb conjugation are introduced naturally through the stories. Students encounter French in fresh but familiar contexts that deepen fluency and confidence over time.
Student expectations
Students review vocabulary Monday/Wednesday/Friday for ten minutes and spend another ten minutes once a week on French copywork or sentence composition in their notebooks.
