Accessibility

Last updated: October 14, 2026.

Our target

CM Everyday French aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This page describes what the site supports today. It is not a claim that every page has passed a full manual audit.

What you can do on this site

  • A skip link at the top of each page jumps past the header to the main content.
  • Pages can be used with a keyboard. Buttons and links show a visible focus style.
  • Text can be resized. The site does not block zoom.
  • A theme control in the header switches between light, dark, and your system setting.
  • An accessibility tools button in the header, next to the theme control, can enlarge text, underline links, switch to a simpler font, and change contrast. These options are off until you turn them on.
  • If your device asks for reduced motion, the stacked resource cards stay still instead of cycling.

October 2026 scan

An automated scan of the homepage in October 2026 found problems with heading order, decorative images, color contrast, and link names on the resource cards. Those issues have been corrected. A full manual review of every page has not been completed.
